Someone asked me recently how I tell when a cannabis plant is ready to harvest.
Let’s take a look. 👀
Most growers look at the color of trichomes, the tiny resin glands coating the surface of leaves. As the trichomes mature, they change color from clear to milky white.
We also look at the long, hair-like pistils that emerge from buds then dry out, turning from white to red.
When the trichomes are mostly white, and the pistils about 70% red, it’s time to consider harvesting.
There are other signs to look for, but I’ve found these to be the most reliable.
So, what do you think? Is this one ready to harvest?

I've heard plants put out a strong smell when flpistols?
Does the timing of the smell go along with the trichomes and pistils?
